Raita
(Yogurt Sauce usually served
with rice dishes)

Ingredients: 2 cups
Yogurt
2 medium Potatoes
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 small tomato (finely chopped)
1/2 cucumber (finely chopped)
Few stems of cilantro
(fresh mint leaves can be used as well)
1 tsp. Cumin
Salt to taste
Powdered black pepper to taste
Procedure:
1. Bake or boil
potatoes and cut into small pieces.
2. Add spices, (cumin, pepper and salt) to yogurt and
stir well.
3. Add potatoes and rest of the vegetables and garnish
with cilantro leaves.
5. Serve it chilled with any main dish.
