Sauerkraut Soup

Ingredients

1 lb (l package) Polish Kielbasa
1 Jar of Sauerkraut
5 medium potatoes (cubed and cooked)
l onion
l Tablespoon caraway seeds
l quart milk (depending on how thick you want it)

            OR

Keep the water from the boiled potatoes and add evaporated milk for a richer taste

Directions

Cut and cook potatoes in water.

Brown sausage with onions.  

Add well drained sauerkraut, caraway seeds, milk, potatoes and pepper to taste.  

Bring everything to a boil and serve.  

Can thicken with corn starch if you like.  

Eat with rye bread.
