cups yams Topping
1/2 cup white or brown sugar Directions: Mash or beat the yams. Gradually add the sugar, followed by the 2 eggs and vanilla. When completely blended place in greased baking dish. For topping, blend butter and sugar together. Add flour and blend completely. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour topping over yams and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.
